Hi Jim,

We need to know, where are you stuck exactly. Could you tell us what steps did you do, and where did you have difficulties? Also, is IMAP/POP3 enabled in your account?

By the way, there is this article about setting up your account, might be handy: Thunderbird and Microsoft email (Office365, Hotmail, outlook.com, etc)
