I changed my Windows 10 Thunderbird password 3 weeks ago. Every day since then I have not received a single email on my S23 Samsung cell. When I go to log into my Micros account to enter my password I do not have and cannot add or replace an old password. How about I make a donation to Thunderbird for an answer that works?

Hi,

Mozilla has been a part of my life since the dial-up times, with Thunderbird and even some time with the Mozilla Suite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Application_Suite). So I had an account on the Thunderbird add-on page and created some collections and also a Firefox account for sync.

Since the Firefox account became the Mozilla account, I haven't logged into the Thunderbird add-on site: https://addons.thunderbird.net Just now I noticed, that there is only the Mozilla account login available and I cannot get into my old Thunderbird account.

If I log in with my Mozilla (formerly Firefox) account, I am logged into a new/empty/un-customized account on the Thunderbird add-on site. If I try to change my username to what I used before, it tells me that username is taken. That means my old account still exists! Yay!

Now my question is, how do I recover it? How do I log back into it? Can I connect it to my Mozilla account?

rogers taking control of my email

I have had my @yahoo.ca email for many years. I have always used Thunderbird to retrieve my email and read it locally on my desktop. Recently when Thunderbird launched Rogers take over and wants me to lo in to rogers. It is not a Rogers.com email address, it is a yahoo.ca email address.

Why has Rogers taken over my email.

I can still access my email on the web at the yahoo.ca website, but I want it back in Thunderbird as well.

Hey all, here's my issue:

I recently switched from macOs to Linux mint and started using Thunderbird again. I have three email accounts.

(1) Business, hosted through godaddy on an outlook/office365 platform (2) private on mail.com (3) private on web.de

Initially, i set up three. Accounts 2 and 3 were fully functional (imap) from the get go. Account one had issues sending emails.

Yesterday I sat down to finally try to solve the issue. In my "turn everything off and on" mindset, i completely reset (or so i though) TB, deleted all three accounts, uninstalled TB, reinstalled TB and set up the accounts again, starting with account 1.

When i finally got it running i realized the issue was a checkmark regarding smtp authentification (also a known problem with office365 running on client software apparently) on the microsoft backend, and not on my computer.

After that was set up, i tried adding my other two accounts. Now, this doesn´t work any more. I get timeouts in the setup process. I tried both, adding through the account hub and without it, it just does not work. All the credentials are obviously correct, so is the imap/server data input. So i think at least.
