Hotmail account needs reverification if I send an email with many (>35) recipients

Every time I send an email to more than 25 or so recipients, the message does not send and I need to reverify my Hotmail account. After I do that, I resend and it goes thru fine. Not sure what the problem is. Thanks,

This action is from your email provider, not Thunderbird. My guess is that sending to that many is an indicator of spam, and you are being asked to reverify to the email provider.
