Thunderbird mail client continues to receive, but has stopped allowing me to send emails.
I am receiving the following error message when trying to send email through the Thunderbird client: Send Message Error "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <tbishop@typewire.com>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user tbishop@typewire.com. Please check the message recipient ("email") and try again."
I have checked the outgoing mail server (smtp) and tried several reconfigurations to get it working and ensure compliance with the ISP's configuration requirements - nothing works. Please advise...

As it is your providers server that is issuing the message it is very difficult to even start to guess. Perhaps there is a case issue that you have not repeated in your posting here. UNIX/Linux which is the operating system most servers use sees TBishop as a separate word to tbishop because of the use of case.
I am guessing a lot, because I have no idea based on your post why your providers mail server says your email address does not belong to your email address. unless the account email address is something other than the sending email address
