Download fails even after removing and reinstalling Fireox
The download functions stopped working three days ago. I always get the message: " Download failed." I refreshed and reinstalled Firefox. I reset browser.download and it still does not work. Any ideas on what to do?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.
This download manager works separately from the
browser. The browser tells it what to download,
and off it goes.
