I login to a site and Firefox asks if I want it to save my login, but there is no "Yes" option, only "Never" or "Not Now"
I have checked the box to remember passwords under Options/Security. When I login to a site, I get a pop-up asking if I want Firefox to remember my login. What I want is an option that says "Yes", but the only option is an "Update" button that has two drop-down options, "Never for this site" or "Not Now", neither of which is what I want. I have tried just clicking on "Update" without selecting one of these options and I have also tried just closing the pop-up, but in all cases, the next time I go to this site, I am asked for my credentials again. How can I get Firefox to remember my login?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
