Do you remember what version you were using before? (If you go to menu Help › More Troubleshooting Info there will be a button bit down the page saying "Show Update History" that will open a panel with versions and dates to help you figure out what & when you were running previously.)

If you check your "About Firefox" for updates to see if you can skip ahead to v155.0 and see if there's any improvement if you update further?
