Hi, I've recently discovered that Firefox replaces the % with underscore while downloading file.

I've read that question: https://support.mozilla.org/fr/questions/1439267 but there is no answer.

Is there a way to prevent that? I use a online tool I've made myself and the % is used as a separator.

I've been using Firefox on Linux since it was Nautilus. Currently running EasyOS Linux Daedalus and Excalibur on different Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny Core i3-8100t boxes and different drives: A good Samsung SSD and two good flashdrives. 32G new RAM installed on each box. I've been using these boxes for over a year. For the last month or so, ever since updating to v. 146 my tabs have been crashing like crazy! I don't normally have more than 10 tabs open at once. But now, as soon as I open a 5th tab it crashes.

I'm running Top to watch CPU and RAM usage. I see nothing unusual. I've rebooted. Disabled all add-ons and run in Troubleshoot mode. Tabs still crash. My only add-ons are uBlock Origin, Temporary Containers and Dark Mode. It happens whether I have hardware acceleration turned on or off. I don't know what else to try. My power just went out for a second, now Firefox its acting like I've never used it.

I've never had this problem. Firefox has worked just fine for years. I have never had an issue with FireFox. Now I'm being told to select a profile like there isn't a set of folders with files dating back to 2021 sitting next to these fresh new folders full of files all dated to today.—I don't know shit by the way, Google told me where the profile stuff is or something idk im pissed.

How do I get Firefox to recognize the same old mountain of files its been using to store bookmarks, passwords, and all the rest is right under its stupid nose? And no the about:profiles page just gives me another blank profile to choose.

I have an account for standard support release versions, I am now using extended support release version 140.7.0 and a popup notification keeps nagging me to make a new profile. How do I do this?

FF does not block pop ups when box checked.

Firefox Permissions yesterday blocked Pop Up for viewing my online documents with message "Permission to access file denied" .

I was able to view my online documents after Adding the merchants website to Firefox Permission Exception for Pop Ups, clicked "Allow" and Clicked "Save Changes".   

Next day, the Merchants website no longer appear in Permission Pop Up Exceptions Window, its now empty.

And now I am no longer able to block viewing my online documents as Pop Ups - my online documents are no longer Blocked when I click the "View" button -even though Permission Block Pop Ups box is checked and no websites appear in Permission block Pop Ups Exception Window.

I have tried a few suggestions from Reddit which did not solve the issue.

Please help.

I did a clean install of Windows and downloaded Firefox, but after signing in and pressing sync none of my old bookmarks or anything is showing up. Is it gone now? I did not have Firefox on any other device.

Each time I open Firefox and type in a search I get a message like something went wrong and I need to verify that I am human. Then I have to go through the pictures and identify the ones with bicycles or motorcycles or Buses. Aggravation which I've never experienced before . I've made Firefox my default browser and I'd like to get rid of the problem. Thank you, any suggestions.

i have lost my Bookmarks folder and the bookmark function no longer works, since recently restarting. CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO RECOVER THE LOST BOOKMARKS OR HELP ME WITH THE ACT OF BOOKMARKING?

I won't show my account information but when I try to access Amtrak's Guest Rewards site it goes into a loop. First it asks for username & password and accepts that with no problem. Then it asks for the code it sends to my cell phone and accepts that. And then it just keeps reloading various pages until I kill it. This is the error message shown in the log, it's repeated over and over:

Hi, I tried to drag and move a tab (worked everytime till now). After I tried to move it toolbar freezed (The image is what I mean by toolbar). Url bar, forward, backward, refresh and 3 lines for settings doesnt work. Only things that works is downloads and side bar. I can also click on tabs and they will open, but moving them wont work. Drag and move options is True.

When I try to quit and reopen firefox, everything works fine until I try to move a tab again. I tried editing the tool bar and default toolbar settings, that wont work either.

My bookmarks have disappeared. The solutions do not seem to work. It may be due to Avast Secure Browser trying to take over. Will they come back if I uninstall that?

My Firefox Labs tab disappeared after the update. Instructions online point me towards enabling studies to access it again, yet my box for Studies was also greyed out. Which conflict setting could be the cause here?

I have been using Firefox with Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional 16.1 since 2022. Never had a problem with dictating into any boxes or search bars before today. Now I cannot dictate into those and I need to. I am a quadriplegic and ventilator dependent and need to use Firefox and be able to dictate into it. Can someone tell me what to do to get that to work again?
