I clicked on the bookmarks icon to open one up, and there's nothing there. where did my bookmarks go? It's been a week, maybe, since I last used the bookmarks menu

I use Ubuntu Linux on my laptop: this OS was updated two days ago, from 24.04 to 24.04.2. Since then I have been unable to access my daily favourite website. A banner showing ACCESS DENIED is displayed, citing "unusual activity". I have attached a screenshot. I have discovered that I CAN access the website in the Brave browser. But Firefox is my preferred browser. I have tried deleting browsing history, opening a Private Window, rebooting the laptop but nothing has worked. I do have some Firefox folders, on containing stored passwords, another containing a recovery file but I don't know how to safely proceed now. What is the best way forward for me to allow me to access my favourite website? Should I create an entirely new account and if I do would I be able to import all my passwords and add-ons, etc.?

This is absolutely driving me out of my mind, I no longer have a tiny drag space above my tabs- when I 'customizem toolbar' and try to add a flexible space above them, I can't. The only solution is to constantly have the menu bar turned on, and at that point I'd just opt out of FF. I cannot figure out why this happened, and I cannot seem to fix it- please help me

there's a keybind that defaults to alt that opens some menu in at the top of the screen that I don't want I looked in the keyboard shortcuts settings but it was not there

when I move the mouse to the top of the screen in full screen the bar thing shows up, this has caused issues and I want it to not do that, please tell me how to disable this

It seems the default for allowing sites to store data locally is backwards (for privacy).

You should be able to set the DEFAULT to "Allow all sites to store data locally FOR THE SESSION ONLY," and then type in the sites that you would like to allow to store data locally for more than one session (or block entirely).

Is there a way to do this? There are not many sites I would like to allow permanent local data storage, so it wouldn't be such a terrible chore to type in their URLs. The opposite is true for sites I would want to allow ONLY FOR the one SESSION - that is a HUGE chore. This appears to be a privacy & security oversight - can you fix this?

Problem number 1: It should be based on the installed language.

Problem number 2: It says PT-PT but it's 100% PT-BR, What is "celular" and "privativo"?, sintax does not conform to european portuguese either.

Using the VPN, there is an option to select a country. However, this doesn't work. I have tried various countries and with every country I select, I am placed in Chicago. Is there a way to make the location selection more accurate?

My browser window (not my private browser window, however, is starting to show text in web pages as a reverse Hebrew font. I can't figure out why. Translations are turned off and it happens on a lot of different sites. There is a screenshot attached. How can I make it stop!!!

I haven't been able to use my bookmarks now for a few weeks and you keep updating but nothing gets resolve. Years ago MOZILLA was great with not issues but lately is always a problem and sometimes is even blocked. Was going on there?

Hello, my Firefox updated to v. 155 today. The "Smart Window" is interesting, but it hijacked all the New Tabs and New Windows. Therefore, I am unable to access the traditional Firefox Homepage with wallpaper, search box, weather, recent pages, etc. Instead, there is only a "Smart Search" which defaults to speaking to the AI. In order to perform a websearch, I must select from a drop-down. --> THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF PRODUCTIVITY. It slows me down, and produces a nuisance rather than benefit. How may I access the traditional Firefox Homepage please? I need those features. Thank you!

I have a windows 7 operating system running Firefox v115.40.0esr and the program runs but I am continually getting the error: The procedure entry point GetSystemTimePreciseAsFileTime could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll Is there a fix for this?
