Have used Firefox for a long time. Just loaded 3.6.2 on my HP laptop with Vista. New tabs don't show either by "open new tab" button or Ctrl + T. I have to keep opening multiple windows of Firefox. Help. Please.

For security reasons please update to at least 3.6.18, if not Fx 4 or 5.
Also get rid of your Ask Toolbar which causes a lot of problems. Google for information and advice.
Removing the Ask toolbar did the trick! That was easy! Thanks for your help, alan_r. -- JaniceW
