Flashplayer plugin returns NS_Error upon download

When i updated flashplayer to the latest version it installed fine, but when i go to youtube it tells me i need to download flashplayer. This does not happen on IE, as flashplayer works fine. When trying to install the flash plugin, i get this in the error console -

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIFile.remove]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://mozapps/content/plugins/pluginInstallerService.js :: anonymous :: line 174" data: no]

Can anyone help fix this?

Disregard, problem solved by uninstalling everything then manual reinstalling flash after installing a clean version of firefox.
