I am currently unable to send emails using BT mail when on Firefox Browser (it still works with Google!)
The email address box does not accept the email address and comes up with an error message. The only way to send an email is to use a different browser ie Google. Emails are still received as normal on Firefox / BT mail

Sorry to hear that. Here are some standard troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue:
- Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield
icon in the left part of the address bar.
- If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
- If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache.
- If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
- If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
- If nothing from the above helps, try creating a new Firefox profile and check if the issue persists there. If it doesn't, you can start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.

Hi I have tried all of the above but nothing seemed to make nay difference. It allows me to receive all emails. I can rely to an email sent to me. I just cannot compose and send a new email. As I say BT email works fine with all other browsers Thanks for you help anyway. Maybe I just need to use Google for all emails
This has been reported over several months. I have two machines running firefox and bT email with a common account name. Windows 11 with firefox 149.0 Windows 10 with firefox 148.2 Both have the problem that the To, CC, BCC addess field cannot be completed from a dropdown contact list after a character has been inserted into a field. The action completes with the just the characters entered being taken as an address.

I have this problem too. Since abt. 14 days I cannot log on to my email account with firefox browser. It has always worked normal before that. When I use another browser, I can log on without problem. Acct to the tech support of the email provider, it's the firefox browser that's causing the problem. How can I overcome this problem ?

Hi, what "this problem" do you have? This thread discusses a very particular issue: address are not autocompleted correctly when selecting email recepients. If you are asking about this issue, please refer to the bug mentioned above. If you experience a different issue ("I cannot log on to my email account"), please ask a new question for it.
