Suddenly "No logins found"

Firefox version 77.0.1, which was released several days ago but I don't think I just updated to this one, and my logins were still there 1 or 2 days ago. I am not using any sync, the file `logins.json` is there and not "corrupt".

Tried messing with `signon.management.overrideURI`, didn't do anything but anyway this option seems to be unused now.

Tried messing with whatever E10S is by adding some environment variable, only got garbage displayed instead of webpages like in that issue, logins are still not accessible.

I really don't like the idea of losing access to all my stored logins. Any advice?

One more detail: my Windows 10 just recently updated to the version 2004.

What about the rest of your profile? Settings, bookmarks, history, passwords . . . .

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Do you see login records in logins.json if you open this file in a Firefox tab or in a text editor ?

You can also check the Password count in the Lockwise section on about:protections.

Yes, the logins.json is fine, I can check number of stored logins if I look at json data, but Lockwise cannot not see them at all.

I have only one profile. Bookmarks and etc. are fine, and I'm still logged in everywhere, only stored logins/passwords are inaccessible.

Another weird thing is that my login information is getting lost every time in several other unrelated programs: OneDrive complains on every startup that it isn't logged in, the (new Chromium-based) Edge also forgets that I've already logged in to my email.

I won't be surprised if this all is somehow caused by the latest Win10 update...

[edit] Correction - not "every time", seem like I have to re-login into a few things after every "Restart and update Windows"

else மூலமாக திருத்தப்பட்டது

Okay, I am pretty much convinced that this problem was caused by the latest Windows update, as everything now works after I restored my system to pre-update state.

Always make a backup!

That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this can help others with similar problems.

You can check the Browser Console for possible error messages about the logins.
