Every time I download Firefox, Yahoo Browser appears instead

I have had Firefox browser for a longtime but some how it was taken over by Yahoo's browser, which I am not keen on.

I have uninstalled the programmes, which are still listed as Mozilla, several times, and attempted to download Firefox from the official Mozilla website but every time I do, the Yahoo browser reappears instead. Why? - how do I get around this problem?

Firefox is a web browser and Yahoo is a search engine. The en-US Firefox from mozilla.org/firefox/all/ comes with Yahoo as the default search engine since Firefox 34.0 as Google is not longer the global default.

You can change what search engine to use in Search Bar or on the default about:home homepage.
