I tried to change my firefox account's password - after just entering the new password once, (and i didn't even enter my old password in incorrectly, everything was correct) I get an error message : You've tried too many times. Try again in 15 minutes.

How can I have tried too many times by entering everything correctly the first time?!

Thanks for reporting this Zendaur, it sounds like the rate-limiting is being overly aggressive here.

One explanation may be that you're on a shared IP address, and someone else on the same address also recently logged tried to log in, perhaps entering their password incorrectly and causing that IP address to get rate-limited.
