I should take it I have a problem with Thunderbird opening hyperlinks in a tab on an existing window in Chrome rather than in a new window. How can I fix this?

I am trying to figure out if this an issue that I need to fix in my Thunderbird, or if it has to do with Chrome, which is set as my default browser. If someone could let me know how to fix it if it IS a Thunderbird issue, or if I should take it up with Chrome, I would be grateful.

I think that would have to be a setting in Chrome. That should control how new pages linked from other applications are treated.
