In trying to re-install Firefox, I got to where they sent a security code to bru..... This is my son who was else where and busy so the time limit hit and I was dropped. Now how do I restart?

Upgrading from System 7 PC to windows 11 PC. On new computer (windows 11) downloaded firefox, logged in; Bookmarks transfered, but some sites (AOL.com, for example) auto filling very old password. Old computer auto fills correct password. On new computer, password manager shows correct password. Why is it not working?

Firefox 153.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11. Immediately after this update, Yahoo Mail began showing a persistent "No internet connection" banner over the search field. Mail loads and receives normally — new messages arrive in real time while the banner is displayed — so the connection is fine. The banner covers the search field, so I cannot search my mail.

Tried without success: cleared cookies and site data for yahoo.com; unregistered the mail.yahoo.com service worker via about:serviceworkers; toggled Enhanced Tracking Protection off and on for the site; removed all extensions; restarted Windows several times.

Yahoo Mail works correctly in Vivaldi on the same machine, same network, same account. It was not happening on the previous Firefox version and nothing else on the machine changed.

Has anyone else seen this since 153.0.1?

As the title says, with both with https and http firefox displays this warning:

But no way to bypass it, trying to login to my ubiquiti edgerouter at http://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1

What can i do?

Hello! Since the latest update to Firefox (153, I believe) my Firefox has not worked. It starts up perfectly fine, but quickly freezes, becomes non-responsive, and needs to be closed. No matter how many times I attempt to open it, the same thing occurs. There’s been been occasions where it hasn’t frozen immediately so I have been able to turn off hardware acceleration as well as remove my theme and disable all my add-ons/extensions, but this has done nothing. Creating a new profile does not help, nor does trying Safe Mode: the same thing happens no matter what. I tried to reinstall the update, but this also did nothing. I haven’t yet tried to uninstall & reinstall or do a Firefox refresh as those are my last resorts and I won’t do them unless I’m sure they’ll make a difference. I haven’t downloaded any new extensions recently, and this only started happening after the most recent update. I’m not sure what else I can try at this point, and am very frustrated.

I periodically need to access a website with an expired or self-signed certificate. I understand the risks, but the browser won't let me. I've searched both the regular settings and about:config, but I can't find an option to restore the button to ignore the warning. How can I ignore the SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE notification and proceed to the website I need?

My question is how do I temporarily remove my bookmarks. I have many bookmarks, hundreds, and I want to disable them temporarily for a few days so they can't be seen by another person using my computer. How can I disable them, but then make them all reappear a few days later? Can someone help? Appreciate the help. Thank you.

I can not remove scenesource from settings and extensions, am doing this to reinstall because the scroll function is not working properly. Appreciate any tech help made easy to understand, I'm old, very old, LOL.
