Firefox 3.6 is no longer asking me if I would like to "save tabs" upon exiting/closing browser.

I've tried almost everything so far: Checking my settings/preferences in tools to make them what they need to be for restoring my tabs. Deleted sessionstore.bak and sessionstore files in my profile open containing files (wasn't a sessionstore.js file to delete though). Also tried running in safe mode to check add-ons, extensions, etc. to see if they were causing the problem. The about:config settings that apply to this problem are all on "true".

So far when I close firefox, by clicking the x-button on the top right corner, my tabs are still there when I re-open firefox. But I want it to ASK me to "save tabs" and TELL me when "your about to close multiple tabs".

What am I doing wrong? Anyone?
