How can I disable the swipe to close function in the tab viewer?

Caz

In the most recent update, when I switch into the tab viewer, several times I have had tabs close as I tried to scroll through the list. It seems that a slight left or right motion intiates a left or right swipe action, and this has had a tab closing functionality added. I do not want to accidentally close tabs while scrolling through them. I do not want a left or right swipe to close tabs. How do I disable this?

Hi Caz,

We have the settings to adjust multiple gestures. Unfortunately, we don't have one for that specific gesture.

You may want to propose it as a new idea in our feedback platform for the team to consider, Mozilla Connect.
