I keep getting an error message regardless of which site I try to visit

eric.brown.dk

All too frequently, I receive messages as seen on the two enclosed screen dumps. When I click on the "Try again" button, I usually get through to the site I'm trying to reach. But today, I got the other response when attempting to log in to your site. Could that be another version of the usual response to all other sites. Could there be something that is intercepting my requests?

Best regards from Demark,

Eric Brown

P.S. I access the internet from a Lenovo Ideapad running Windows 11 fully updated.

If you go to about:support you would see a) if there's any security software registered to potentially decrypt your traffic, and b) you can also check if "something" has set SSLKEYLOGFILE to scan your secure connections (NB: this has landed just recently bugzilla.mozilla.org/2049961 so might not be available in your version yet).

Other than that, this is simply the other side unavailable — i.e. a plain time–out, without any integrity or middlebox issue.
