Installed Thunderbird but Inbox didn't load.
Pop up message is: The current operation on Inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account xxxx@frontier.com responded: [CLIENTBUG]SELECT command is not valid.

I guess you missed the meno where Frontier gets email service from Yahoo. https://frontier.yahoo.com

Welcome to email provided by Yahoo. Google clientbug and see you are not alone.
I don't have Yahoo. Forgot to mention that I was importing from Outlook 2016. Everything else imported but not the Inbox emails.
