How to close browser notification in Firefox 53 on Linux Mint?

I just updated the Firefox on Linux Mint, then I realized that I cannot close browser notification without selecting the provided options. AFAIK, there should be a cross icon (in top-right of the panel) to close the notification panel. Moreover the panel keeps showing even if I change/switch to other tab or windows. I think this issue needed to be fixed.
