debugger script keeps locking up computer on MS Vista

While on sites such as Fox News, Breitbart, Competitionplus, Facebook, I can only scroll around for about 5 to 10 minutes randomly before a window pops up informing me of a need to de-bug some script. From the menu I select "stop script" but that does nothing. The computer still locks up regardless what I do. I have gone to the control panel (advanced) and disabled script debugger but that does not work either. I looked at some online comments that said I should have enabled the script de-bugger, but nothing seems to work. I have an old system, Windows Vista, but has worked well until this started recently.

What script is causing the lockup? Can you copy/paste the script message?

Not related to Firefox, but I highly recommend upgrading to a more recent version of Windows as Vista is outdated and Microsoft is no longer providing mainstream support as of 4/10/12. Extended support will end on 4/11/17. You might want to upgrade to at least Windows 8.1 or if you are feeling like you really want to be up-to-date, upgrade to Windows 10.
