I run Thunderbird on two machines. Is there any way that e-mail files from both of these machines can be merged? I need to combine the e-mails I send and receive so they are all in one place. Is MailDir a better solution

Are you not using IMAP?

If not, is this by choice or imposed on you by your email provider(s)?
