This is probably more a suggestion than a question.
In the "Home" section of the settings under "Firefox Home Content" there are two different settings for creating shortcuts for pages you visit - one under the choice of "Shortcuts" (on/off) and then just below that there is another choice for "Recent Activity" (on/off) with a sub-menu (on/off) choice for "Visited Pages".
I realize these are two different things (logo thumbnail for the first/webpage images for the second). But I find it not only redundant, but since I don't want to clutter my home page with recent visits, and I only chose the first shortcut setting, every time I visit a site, that is now added to the icons that I HAVE chosen. And worse, when I delete one, a new one pops up in its place, sometimes four or five or more times, whether I "Dismiss" or "Delete from history".
It seems to me that there should be a choice for "Sites visited" in the Shortcuts choice or not include that at all.
The only way to s top it is to fill up the rows. I'm getting there but until I do, I keep fighting with these new shortcuts popping up on their own.

Title: Home page widgets are missing in Firefox on Windows 11
Hello,
I'm having an issue with Firefox on Windows 11.
The widgets on the Firefox Home page are not showing. I also checked Settings, but I can't find any option related to widgets or Firefox Home customization. I've attached a screenshot showing the issue.
What I've tried:
-Restarted Firefox. -Checked Firefox Settings, but there is no widget option available. -The problem still persists.
Could someone help me understand why the widgets are missing and how I can restore them?
Thank you.
Home page disaster. Did about:config. Normal page lasted one time only. Disgusted! Will leave firefox and cancel payments to mozilla if no way back.

I remember not too long ago, I could copy/paste blocks of links, in the format of link1|link2|link3|etc, to save current tabs as my homepage if I needed to close firefox and not loose my tabs. But now, I have to manually add and remove each link individually (see screenshot). And it only shows the site domain, not information specific to the actual page I want to keep so I don't know if I'm deleting something that's not needed or important. I usually have 50+ pages that need to managed: saved, removed, reordered, etc. I used to be able to set up one browser window exactly how I want it and click button to save current tabs as home screen. It was so easy.
Is there any way I can revert back to the old way of saving homepages? Or any other suggestions to have tabs reliably reload? I need a solution to be guaranteed to work to not lose important work, using current tabs as homepage accomplished this. This is one of the major reasons I used firefox.
How do I set my home page as my default start page? When I close my tabs it disappears. Attached screenshots

ok i asked this before and that did not help why does firefox not let me open the old yahoo mail ? i put the link in the startup custom url and it drops half of the custom i entered and the when i reopen the browser i get the same new mail.
so i go to the settings and then to startup and then i click on custom urls and then enter the custom url https://mail.yahoo.com/d/settings/1 that is what i do in a new browser and that takes me to the old yahoo email back page and so i click the back arrow in that screen and it goes back the old yahoo email page.
when i paste that custom url into the custom url field and it saves this mail.yahoo.com that take me to the new yahoo email page and that new yahoo sucks, it is about as worthless as gmail.
so how do you save the actual custom url you need to save for the startup of fire fox. i'm about to go back the goggles browser at least that one opens all the correct pages i want to use.
it does the same with ebay but at least ebay is set to open my watch list when i first go to ebay. thanks
those crash reports may be form my other pc that crashes the tabs all day long. so i took that out of service for now and i will be reinstalling the os again to clear out the hd someplace on that pc is a bug so it seems i have to different profiles and i have tried to get one profile to use on both pc and that fails bad. but that will be another question after i get this figured out the photo are i think the 1st is what i want and the 2nd is what i;m getting after i save and see that is wrong i will reply to correct them if i do not reply then they are correct. thanks

I recently noticed that my homepage when I open Firefox is something different from the custom URL that I have previously set. I went to settings to try and change it back, but I no longer see the option to do that.
Did mozilla take away the option to use a custom homepage or did they change the location of setting that option in the settings?

Firefox Desktop version 152 has a terrible homepage layout. Too much space is unusable, the huge logo can't be removed to save space, and the layout for bookmarks is a mess. I'm going to add 2 images taken from previous versions to show what I (and I'm sure many other users) would like to see.
Mozilla developers really need to fix this problem.
I want Firefox to open on a specific home page. How do I do it?
i always had yahoo as my home page. after a firefox update, firefox became my default home page and I can't seem to remove it and make it yahoo again.
