Hello. After another update, there was a problem with the translation of the settings window. After opening the window, despite the specified browser language (Ukrainian), most of the items are still displayed in English. Attempts to manually edit the settings, reinstalling the browser from a fresh installer on a new system did not help. How to fix it? Windows 11, Firefox 152.0.4

I am currently using the Vietnamese Telex IME of Windows 11 and I just found out that whenever I type the "." after any word, that word will be deleted. This is how to recreate the bug: 1. Type "hello " 2. Backspace (delete) 1 time, now it is "hello" 3. Type "." and the whole thing is deleted, turned into an "." string instead of "hello."

I just wanna ask if there is any setting or config that can solve this problem. Thanks.

as you can see in the image I can't select German as spellcheck language even though I have installed the German dictionary. My Win OS and the browser use English but I want German as spellcheck as well.

What I am missing?

I have noted (finally) that Firefox is setting not just Language but units and currency based on the Language.

So, of the choices available - UK English is the nearest in terms of Language and spelling. However it's not my currency and despite being "technically" metric are not.

US English uses a currency that is not mine (but pretends to be), spelling that is not mine and does not even use Imperial units but some Elizabethan hybrid.

Canada manages to take the language from one and the units of the other.

No other Language English XX are offered.

Can I have Australian English - New Zealand or Singapore would be fine.

My chosen language is English, with French second and US English third. I want to set French as my translation language but when I select 'Translation Settings' I am presented with a menu that only allows Removal of languages. How do I Add a language ? In this case French.

Using either Firefox or Edge I still only get espanol.Yahoo.com instead of just Yahoo.com. What do I need to change on my computer?

Hi everytime I use the translate option it seems to flip my previous choice and selection...I live in Austria but speak only english...but i even get russian options and sometimes im on a german site and it asks to translate english to german....it makes no sense

My firefox language setting is defaulted to English and yet recently up until now, my.yahoo.com portal suddenly appears in Spanish. I've cleared cookies and history , but still the results have not changed. I tried using the my.yahoo.com portal in MS Edge and still it comes up in Spanish. Please help. Thank you.

I've never changed things from English and can't find how to change it back. There's a pop up window saying you want to have things in English. Yes I do but I don't want to do it every time I open the browser. Any help is appreciated.

Dropdown menu changed to "Translate selection to French. Has always been "Translate selection to English". I use it all the time. I don't think I changed anything. How can I set it back to English? Tried this: "To change the translation selection back to English in Firefox, go to the Language section in the General panel of Firefox settings, select English from the dropdown menu, and restart Firefox. This will revert the translation settings to English." Didn't work. System language is English (CA).

I recently bought a new laptop running on Windows 11 Pro. All my settings for languages (English GB) in Firefox are the same as my old laptop, which was Windows 10.

On my W11Pro laptop, the translation icon doesn't appear when I highlight a portion of text in a foreign language, whereas it did appear in my old laptop. If I right click on the highlighted text I can access "translate selected text" but nothing happens when I click on that. Translating an entire webpage works fine, it's just the highlighted text that doesn't.

I'm not very technically minded, so any answer will need to be in simple terms! Thanks.

It's checked in settings, the US english language pack is installed, I did the about:config thing as well and it's still not working. Oh yeah, also used troubleshoot mode - turned off all addons - and still doesn't work.
