I lost many of my bookmarks when I linked my Firefox for Android to my desktop. Why, and can they be recovered?

After syncing my android device to my desktop, one of my bookmark directories was duplicated with no entries, and the original was moved with many entries deleted. Can these be recovered? Thanks for any help.

Hi rickinseattle,

Thank you for your question. I understand that you would like to recover some missing bookmarks. Please see these troubleshooting steps for more information http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks.

However please also take note that next week there will be an update to version 29 and there will be a new Sync!Sync your Firefox bookmarks, history, passwords and more Please also back up the user profile or you can use Xmarks to sync between browsers too!
