Unwanted tabs loaded when FireFox launches.

Certain tabs reload every time I start Firefox. Specifically: CoolIris; Download Helper; Getting started with Firefox; FlashGot; & NoScript. I can close the tabs before exiting, and they will reappear on restart. This has happened several times before, and each time I created a new profile and it would be 'clean' for a while, and then these tabs will reopen even though I closed them before exiting. Normal operation should be that only the tabs that were open when I exit Firefox should reappear on relaunch. An additional problem (which may not be related) is that NoScript will not save my permissions from session to session.

Unfortunately the above listed link did not provide any specific help. I was unable to find the lines that load the undesirable tabs.
