How do I put a website on my toolbar?

I have created a desktop icon (shortcut) and have dragged it onto the toolbar. It says it is pinned but there is nothing visible. I would like a website on my toolbar.

You might need to display the Bookmarks toolbar. If you right-click after the "+" on the tab bar, or in a blank after after the address, you can choose Bookmarks Toolbar from the pop-up menu. Then you can add a site to that toolbar. (I don't know whether you can drag a bookmark onto the other toolbar...)
