Firefox / Google Meet / IoS update 9 August 2024

hi - i installed the latest apple update on my m3 air on 8/8. I use Google Meet for meetings/video calls. Post the update, Firefox, starts Google Meet but when I go to join a meeting, it crashes. If i click to restore the tab, I go in a circular look -> google meet page, see the camera -> click on join -> crash etc.

I have cleared the cache, reinstalled Firefox and still get the exact same issue.

I have Firefox 129 installed and IOS 14.6.1 (23G93) with 16GB of RAM

In order to use Google Meet now I have to use Safari which works just fine.

Any help please.


/edit: moved thread from Firefox for iOS (for iPhone/iPad) to Firefox section as you have a m3 air macbook with macOS.
