first my firefox not opening then i reinstall it but the same thing it is not opening can u help

while i am using firefox browser it went off suddenly and later on it doesnot open. then i tried to update but still same. kindly help

Open your firewall program. First check the settings. Make sure that the program is set to tell you if a new program wants access to the web. Then go to the list of programs the firewall has. Make sure that all the programs you want to access the web are set to ALLOW. If it is set to AUTO, the firewall may not allow access.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Clear the Cache Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  • On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
  • On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
  • Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
