I have a customized Yahoo as a home page, but while browsing, Firefox returns it to the general Yahoo home page and I have to "sign in" to get the customized page back.

When you Sign-in place Checkmark on Keep me Signed in option

Check and tell if its working.

I did that, and I have always done it before. The same thing keeps happening. It is a real bother to keep having to sign in to get back to my customized home page.

I left those choices unchecked and it didn't seem to make any difference.

I don't necessarily want Firefox to remember the username and password.

Its that I don't like having to resign in everytime I want to return to the browser.

That doesn't help much. On the screen that opened my password was saved for that site, but the user name was blank. So on the Yahoo screen, I had to add the user name. As I said, previously I did not have to do this every time I closed the browser, so something has been changed, possibly by Yahoo who is trying to get me to sign up for their new mail system.

The browser seems to be OK now, as long as I don't go to the Yahoo mail site.

I think I will just avoid going to that site unless absolutely necessary.
