Since the launch of Thunderbird (Android), I have been using it. Recently I changed the email account password and now want to update it in Thunderbird. I can’t find an option in the app to update the password, and the app is not prompting me to enter the new password.

Vald lösning

Go to <Settings | Accounts | (choose the account) | Fetching mail | Incoming server | Password>

and

<Settings | Accounts | (choose the account) | Sending mail | Outgoing server | Password>

Change them both.

similar issue-however, when I go to settings I do not see any field in which to enter a password. Moreover, in settings I find no 'saved' passwords that I might change. Suggestions most welcomed!

This question was about Thunderbird for Android. This is the Thunderbird for Desktop operating systems forum. Although I was able to answer this simple question, I'm not very familiar with that app. You would be better off asking your question in that forum, where the experts reside:
