Hello, I’ve been having a performance problem with Firefox that only happens when I play the Letter Boxed web game from the New York Times. When I open the puzzle in Firefox (latest version), the letters load fine, but as soon as I start typing, the browser becomes laggy input delays, slow animations, and occasionally the whole tab freezes for a few seconds. I’ve tried the following, but none have fixed it: Restarting Firefox Disabling all add-ons Clearing cache and cookies Updating Firefox to the latest version Running in Safe Mode Other websites and games work normally, and the issue only appears with this specific NYT game. It also doesn’t happen in other browsers on the same machine.
