Matt besvarat

My Thunderbird has run seamlessly for years With the new version it requires a password for the first time. I can't even recall using a password the when I set the program up. In addition the Tools>Options>Security Panel>Passwords>Saved passwords does not exist in my version of the program. Thus I cannot even edit my password. Help

Basically I guess you have a problem with your internet security suite/ Anti virus. When connections fail because they are blocked Thunderbird is guessing it has a password issue, those that wrote it did not conceive of products that routinely just blocked access to the internet for applications. Check the software firewall your product has to ensure Thunderbird can access the internet.
