duplicating bookmarks when I sign into Firefox account

As an update, i found where you can select what to sync..I unchecked all and even disabled syncing. I signed out of support for this chat and on the Firefox account on top right of the browser screen. I went to this support and it requested I sign in..I did..now I tried to sign in on the browser top right icon and it again automatically synced and when I went to the properties of syncing it was turned ON and all catagories were again checked. Are there two separate sign-ons? the Firefox sign on also brings me to a mobile sign on..but just get out. How do I fix this to stop syncing?

As an update I have found where I can set what folders are synced and shut them all off..I even disabled it . I signed out of support sign on and also from to right shortcut to my firefox account. When I signed back into my Firefox account on top right link.. first it asked me to link with mobile which I did not and then it synced again automatically. I checked the folders and they were all checked again..I unchecked and disabled and signed out again. I am very confused..are there TWO separate Firefox accounts? One for support and one for syncing? I do not want to loose my bookmarks on my laptop but do NOT want to automatically sync so I don't get all these duplicate bookmarks.. What on earth am I doing wrong. Help is appreciated.
