Try to download all emails from Gmail but Thunderbird said there's no more new messages
Thanks in advance for your time, Mozilla team. My goal is to have all emails in my local folder so I can empty Gmail.
I was downloading emails since yesterday morning, but today Thunderbird said there's no more new messages to download. The latest one it downloaded was back in last October, so there are more on Gmail. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
I set up Thunderbird in POP. I'm on macOS Mojave 10.14.6. Thunderbird is 68.5.0 (64-bit)
Please let me how to fix it. Really appreciated!

Is it possible you reached the daily limit imposed by gmail?

I think Google Takeout is another option which downloads mail as mbox files, which can be easily imported to TB Local Folders.

You're right. I miss that daily limit. After waiting a while and I can download again. And I didn't know about the Google Takeout thing, very useful. Thank you!
