Imported bookmarks from Safari are not imported. What am I missing?
Pretty simple, File->Import from Another Browser....->Safari->Bookmarks. Nothing imported.
Firefox - 67.0.4 Safari - 12.1.1 macOS - 10.14.5
No details other than I don't want to use Chrome. Have been using Safari and have bookmarks that I want to carry over as part of my evaluation of Ff.
Not a good start for the first action I've performed on this browser.

Hi dvinton, sorry to hear that didn't work for you automatically. Could you check whether Firefox imported them into a separate folder named something like Imported from Safari? That would usually appear at the bottom of the Bookmarks menu.
If Firefox cannot import them automatically, you could use the two step process:
- Export from Safari to an HTML file
- Try File > Export Bookmarks to create a file named “Safari Bookmarks.html”
- Import the HTML file to Firefox

Then finally you should have an Imported Bookmarks folder and you can reorganize them to the menu, toolbar, etc., as you prefer.
