All I wanted to do was change my password but I couldn't fimd how to do that so I thought I would start over and create a new account b/c the server settings had changed too. I have successfully created the new account but I can't find how to enter the new password. Right clicking on the server entry does not work. This is for Thunderbird on the latest version of Ubuntu. thanks in advance for your help

The password was entered when you added the account. If you checked the box to save it, it will be in Edit/Preferences/Security/Passwords/Saved passwords, where you can change or delete passwords. "Change' means you edit the password applied by TB after you have changed it through your mail provider.

I gave up on Thunderbird b/c help is not helpful and this response didn't solve the problem. Evolution installed without incident. Thanks for trying.

Enjoy evolution. I tried it years ago and spent a lot of time pulling my hair out. So I hope it has improved.
