Windows 10, Lenovo Thinkpad. TB Gmail account wouldn't download email past 11/21/2018. Deleted account on TB, uninstalled TB. Reboot, reinstalled TB, added gmail account but Thunderbird keeps rejecting my email password. I was able to add this TB account on another computer running windows 7.

Thunderbird does not reject it, gmail server is rejecting it.

It is possible that gmail are blocking you. You may need to select to use 'less secure apps' in your gmail account accessed via a browser.

If you were accessing via pop mail account or using imap but not 'OAuth2' authentication method then you would need to select to use 'less secure apps'.
