Thunderbird stopped downloading messages from a gmail account immediately after a power outage. I tried deleting the account in Thunderbird and then adding it again, but the error message said "configuration could not be verified. Is the username or password wrong?" I have not changed the password. This gmail account works well on webmail. Nothing seems to be wrong there. I also tried disconnecting the Gdata firewall with no effect.
