Can't link to external websites in weebly using firefox

When creating a website in Weebly, using Firefox, links to external websites don't work. the highlighting simply disappears, and sometimes the actual text as well. Internal links work fine. In Chrome I can create the links, but I would rather use Firefox.

I am not familiar with Weebly, but old answers suggest a reset or history wipe might work.
