I cannot get rid of Ask search engine.
I have changed my default search engine to Google. I've also checked my Firefox add-ons, and Ask is not listed there. How can I get rid of Ask?

If you can't find it in your Firefox add-ons, then try looking at your list of installed programs - Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features
this is one of the most common problem when you install or download any application from unknown place. it automatically install this Ask toolbar and search.
