For months, control-shift-k almost never works. Every once in a while it does briefly. No sense of what is different when it briefly works. Updates to TB don't seem to make any difference.

I am trying to change my default search engine to Firefox and it isn't allowing me. What could be preventing this? and how do I get around it? Thank you in advance for your help.

My current version of Firefox is 151.0.4 (64-bit) & for the past 2 weeks or so every time I use the search bar to google something it triggers one of those "We've detected unusual activity from your network" requiring a Captcha. At first I tried all of the typical stuff [antivirus, vpn, extensions, etc...] to make sure that wasn't the issue. But as of yesterday & confirmed today I can actually go to Google's website first & do the search from there with no issue & no captcha.

So, whatever the issue is has to do specifically with doing the search via the search bar... for some reason. Is this a bug in the browser, or is there perhaps some setting that could cause this to happen in the about:config page? Though, I doubt a setting could be it because I've changed the settings I've changed now for years without causing this issue.

I want to add Firefox as a search engine. But there's not a search engine on your settings. You use Google Bing DuckDuckGo. Why don't you have a search engine that says Firefox? That's my question.

Suddenly Start Page has become my default browser when I open Firefox. Duck Duck Go has always been my default browser. I did not download Start Page. I don't want Start Page. My PC Win 11 is set to use Duck Duck go as the default browser. Why is this happening?

Hi, It's now impossible to add lilo.org search engine in firefox mobile for my new android device (android 16, firefox 155.0.1). Now when I try to add it (please check screenshot), I have an error message : "Check that search string matches Example format" The query string is https://search.lilo.org/?q=%s and on my previous android device (Android 13, firefox mobile 155.0.1) I still have it setup as the default search engine, and I just tried to add it again on this device and I don't have this blocking error message. I have been using Thunderbird for a while.. I could always filter messages easily to help with mailbox cleanup, now it seems to have stopped working or a setting has automatically changed.. When activating Quick Filter, I could type in the 'Filter Messages' box and it would start listing the mails in that inbox as I typed, now it doesn't happen anymore..

I have been unable to add Yahoo as the default search engine. No matter what address I type in, it consistently comes up with "Could not add OpenSearch Provider for".

Hi ì just want to ask how does it happen that when I use the Firefox bar search engine and when I type something to search i find myself typing in google search bar even when i haven chosen Firefox as a or on defaulter.

And also Please check for me what is making my data to finish so quickly, it was not like that at first but now my data doesn't last for long anymore.

After the last update, Firefox will not load pages after 2 or 3 successful web searches. Once i close and then reopen Firefox it will work again for 2 or 3 web searchs via the dialog box

I am trying to use Startpage as my search engine and Firefox as my browser. I just want to get away from Google and Chrome, but I can find any options to add Startpage to Firefox and viceversa
