Since updating to 151.0.1 0 on MAC OS Tahoe 26.5 , every 6 digit TOTP entered posts error - "Use another authentication method"

I use same authenticator app on Safari - no issues.

After all of those years, am I witnessing now that FF literally failing?

How could it become mysterious by that it lets user's location leaked to github even though: - third-party HiFi company VPN is active and in OpenVPN UDP/TCP, Wireguard, IPv6 On/Off, etc... - No bookmark to corresponding website - Cache and website data were so-called cleaned, - Other browsers don't give that symptom, only FF - No related plugin, out of only 3

it's impossible to find out how it lends to the language and region query of this website every time after cleaning. Is FF getting closed app?

Is that a no-way-to-explain effect of language models' evolution is exponentially higher in every 4 months after two years?

I am running the latest public stable release of Firefox, 151.0.1 (aarch64), and these last few weeks I've been getting prompted to grant my location over and over every time I do a Google search. In MacOS, I've granted Firefox location permission and I've repeatedly saved me giving google permission but it doesn't stop. This is happening on my MacBook Pro and Mac Studio.

Anyone else? Any tips? It's maddening. lol

I just received this on my iMac: “You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, etc.” Following this, I ended up with page after page of information and options. This is dense and confusing and many options seem like they're asking me to provide information or choose certain things that may create serious and damaging situations. I don't like it and I don't even know if it's legitimate. You have no phone support. With all this confusion I am considering moving on to another browser. When I restart Firefox on my PC, many tabs in at least one window will be moved from their position. Usually to the end of open tabs within that window. I've been dealing with this for years and never heard a response from anyone else. It is very annoying as many of my tabs are set up in a sequence. I have to find the first one, manually select them all, and then use the command to move them to the start of the window.

I am trying again to see who else has experienced this problem and if there are solutions for it.

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to bring up my concern. So, I apologize in advance if it's not.

I volunteer with a domestic violence organization. The group's website (180NJ.org) has a "panic button" function where a DV victim could bail out instantly if their abuser confronts them. When you hit the "Safety Exit" button, it changes the page to weather.com and Google comes up in a new tab. This is so an abuser can't see what the victim was looking at, for the victim's safety. When using Chrome and Edge, the DV site is removed from the History. When using Firefox, it is not removed from the History. I've brought this to the attention of the organization's IT people and was told that this is probably due to differences in the browsers themselves.

I'm not an IT person myself and have no idea what's involved in all of this. But, I just wanted to bring it to your attention, in case it's something you can work out. Thank you.

Sometime I can sign in, sometimes I can't, and have no idea why this is so. I tried logging in to the Mozilla Support site, but at first the auto-fill kept putting in log-in info for a completely other site. Then when I looked up the correct info, and entered it manually, I got: "Your account has been blocked after multiple consecutive login attempts"

And that's all, no mention of what options I had, reset the password, or how long I would be blocked from logging in, nothing, but that my account was blocked!! Then I tried to log into the community forum, and that went fine, so why not the log in to the Support site???? I've logged into both many times previously, yet all too often, there is some glitch or another, stopping me from logging in. Why does FF's own auto-fill feature not get it right? Isn't that the point to it, so we can be logged in automatically?

If I'm having some kind of issue with the browser, and need to seek help, the last thing I want to deal with is being prevented from even getting to do so! How can I get this to stop happening?

I have been having issues where I am unable to access the website: www.loki.ch. This is the web site for a Swiss railway magazine. I have always been able to access it previously, but haven't used it now for a few months. However this week when I've tried, I'm blocked access to it (see the attached screen shots). I do note that since I had previously access the web site, there have been updates to Firefox. However, when trying to use either Edge or Google Chrome, they also block me, but just say that unable to access the web site, nothing mentioned about being "Not Secure" as Firefox does. It's not a web site where you have to log in and/or use passwords. Contacting the magazine by Facebook messenger yields no response from them. Posting the issue on a Facebook group, other users have responded that they can access it (one was from Slovenia and the other in the UK). One mentioned issues from Australia where I am. It's not a dangerous or suspect web site, simply a magazine about Swiss Model Trains. I have tried adjusting settings to exempt it in Settings - no change. Not a anti virus issue. None of the suggestions in the FAQ have exactly the same scenario in the screen shots attached.

Surely there has to be some way to bypass whatever is in Firefox Security preventing me from accessing this web site?

Enhanced Tracking Protection is SHIIIT!!!! This is terrible - my browser gets blocked as soon as I open TikTok's ad site, and no matter what I try, I can't get the block lifted. I know exactly what website I'm logging into, and I need to be able to manually turn off these protection features

I would like to control the animation speed of .GIF (ie on Wikipedia). I would like to stop, manual single step or play frames one per duration (ie 1 frame every 2 sec or 1 frame every .5 sec). I would also like to control whether it repeats. I would like to freeze at any point then resume playing given the above settings.

How do I do this?

PS: There may be other types of animation files which the above control could apply to as well.

I had to turn off Norton VPN to use Thunderbird as my email client for the Comcast email service. Is there any strategy to allow Thunderbird to work through a VPN? I use the POP protocol and keep all saved messages (hundreds) on my PC, not on the email server.

It is just all the "sexy" photoos of movie stars and such. I mean, it's okay but iit's a terrible distraction and I find myself going there and wastding too much time. Can I get rid of all that on my oppening screen?

Hello, I went from being able to reopen Mozilla and have all tabs open. This stopped happening a couple of days ago. I do not have the restore previous session as was suggested to try when I searched this topic. I went into manage history, import and backup, restore, then selected the most recent date available. At first it didn't seem to work and I started searching through history to reopen tabs one by one. I left my computer (still running) came back and all my tabs had miraculously reappeared. I checked my settings to make sure nothing had changed. It hadn't - still set to reopen tabs when opening Mozilla. Closed the laptop last night, This morning - no tabs!!! I have a lot of tabs, and groups of tabs, with info I need. How do I recover these tabs and stop this from happening again? Thank you.

When using the official Firefox AI sidebar integration configured with Gemini, the user authentication status is not persistently maintained. Every time the sidebar is minimized/closed, or when switching within the sidebar interface (such as clicking away to view Chat History and returning), the session state is destroyed. The sidebar immediately defaults back to a generic splash page prompting the user to "Sign In" again, effectively breaking the seamless chat experience.
