As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! hello yesterday i updated my Win10N to 22H2 version. since then i dont have audio on X videos and get error messages on nius clips (see pic) in about:support shows h264 acc and hevc as unsupported. but i cant tell if this is new or not. anyway k-lite codec pack should make them supported, right? to further narrow down the problem i used edge and visited nius and twitter and both worked fine, so the problem must be firefox. so im out of ideas how to fix that. anyone can help me? my help request on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1fs2in3/need_helppossible_codec_problem/

After a few days I noticed that the option "open with" on the downloads dialog is always grayed out (see the attached picture).

If I go on the settings and tell the browser to not ask and open directly the file, it opens without any problem... (actually it shows an advertisement saying it is an executable file, but when I dismiss it, it opens)

Information Your browser is being managed by your organization.

I am 75 years old. I am RETIRED there is NO REASON for an organization to be in CONTROL of ANYTHING on my computer. How do I STOP THIS?

I don't know if this is related or not, but Something is BLOCKING my ability to use check boxes or circles. Sometimes I can see the box but my response is NOT VISIBLE. Tonight I was trying to complete a survey and the questions were visible but I was COMPLETELY UNABLE to see the answer boxes/circles. Sometimes they would be briefly visible when the page initially opened but QUICKLY DISAPPEARED and were NOT identifiable by manipulating my cursor using mouse, space bar, or tab bar.

I have stayed with Firefox as my default browser for several DECADES and PREFER NOT to change now. BUT this MUST STOP!

macOS Sonoma, M1 Not sure when this happened, but I can no longer change my zoom level in settings. As you can see in the screenshot, the - and + are both greyed out and I can't use them. Using cmd+ or cmd- doesnt work either.

Firefox (version 130.0.1 (64-bit)) is not playing audio through headphones. Have tried a number of sites - e.g. YouTube, internet radio stations, news sites.

However, unlike in the above-mentioned support article, the Windows App Volume and Device Preferences settings are set to default.

I have since also tried restarting my PC (Windows 10 ; Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4651) and resetting the App Volume and Device Preferences to the Microsoft default settings (see Image attached).

I also tested and audio plays fine through Chrome browser, VLC media player, Teams and Edge.

ATT/Yahoo is my homepage. When reading an article on the ATT(Currently)/Yahoo homepage, there is a comments section at the end of each article. When trying to access the comments section, it disappears when clicked on. On other homepages (MSN, eg), it works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Mozilla foxfire has been my go to web browser for many years but recent problems that have developed with printing from the web browser is forcing me to go to another browser.

As you will notice from the screen print when printing the browser creates open space to the bottom from the first two lines. that is no matter what is being printed.

So, There's this website called pw.live and I use it for study purposes. And I've recently switched to linux and installed firefox. But that website loads but any videos or live streams don't. Even though it works perfectly fine on Windows version of firefox.

I tried to search about this and it may be because the content is DRM protected. I'm just speculating though it may be broken for some very different reason. I also looked into solutions to fix DRM related issues. And found some solutions but the plugin Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc. just doesn't exist in the plugins tab. There is only "OpenH264 Video Codec" there. And I think that might be the problem.

All of a sudden, my extensions icons, site icons and some images in every page are very very dark or pitch black. I haven't change anything in themes other than changing the theme of the browser after installing it.

In the attached images, you can see how the Mozilla site icon is rendered by Firefox Stable, Firefox Nightly in Recovery Mode without my account being signed in and Google Chrome. The other screenshot is the extension toolbar with extension icons being rendered all black instead of their true color.

Anyone knows how do I make https://yandex.com my default search engine? (in the top bar of the browser). I have attached a screenshot of my settings page. Please have a look at the suspicious lack of an "Add" button 🤔. Despite my efforts, the drop-down menu will not show the available options in the screenshot, you will have to take my word for it, the only available options in that menu are: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, eBay and Wikipedia (en).

P.S. The settings page in Firefox must change really often, as I seen so many people suggesting many outdated methods online.

When I right click a tab and select Bookmark Tab, the "Location" is preselected from one of my existing bookmark folders/locations. I thought it might adapt to the most recent or most often selected folder; however, it seems to present the same "default" location every time I bookmark a tab - a folder I have not barely used in months. I realize I can select another folder, but it is annoying for it to select the LEAST used and my personal least favorite folder EVERY TIME, for MONTHS.

1) Is there a way to select which folder it preloads to save bookmarks to? 2) Why is it selecting THAT folder? 3) If there is no way to set a folder, is there a way to reset it or something? ANY other folder to default to would be less annoying. I do not understand why it seems "stuck" on this folder and will not preload ANY other folder from the dozens of folders.

I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

on restart/update, all my toolbar extension are large and unchangable, there was a small icons option before this `update` now, i cant change them, the top of the screen used up by toolbar bs i dont need or want in large format. Is this something overlooked and will be fixed shortly today, or is this a `look for another browser` situation ?

When I check "Check spelling as you type" and choose size of fonts and then close my browser it doesn't remember the settings chosen, IE, when I open it again, go to settings the "check spelling as you type" isn't checked and the size of the fonts shows earlier setting
