When I logged in this morning my FireFox screen had changed. The window for searches had disappeared and the "pocket" selections were all about India and its events. None of the previous options were there. What happened and how do I get back to where things were?

Firefox is my default browser, but often shows my location wrong in my home location. Google chrome and maps shows it correctly. Please tell me where firefox thinks I am and how I might correct it.

When i logged into a privacy session on a website the account did not automatically log out when i closed the session. I checked again by purposefully ensuring i closed all privacy windows but when i went back to the sight i was still logged in. I had to specifically log out the account.

Has something changed with the setting? This was one of the features that i liked. I don't want to find a new browser because what i expect is no longer happening.

I've been searching for three days now for a solution that will work to restore my profile from a crashed windows-7 machine to my new windows-11. Nothing listed in any forum or help desk works as described. I used to be able to just rename the folder to the exact file name on the new PC, but windows 11 won't let me do anything. It always needs admin permissions and even after I activated the admin account and assigned a password, I still cannot copy to the folder or rename the folder. Every attempt to do this on W-11 fails. It shouldn't be that hard and I'm tired of wasting days playing with this. I have important bookmarks, passwords etc. I want restored, and I need help. Nobody wants to pick up a phone anymore to assist!

I have never used "sync" because I have multiple PCs and each used for different applications and yes some go back to W-7, the operating system that actually worked well. Each PC has Firefox and a distinct bookmark file.

I went to "about:profiles" and created a new profile thinking I could copy to the new folder, but when i switched profiles I couldn't get back to the original default! HELP!

Tried to download Firefox onto my android mobile, but it kept saying I have to get the app from google.

Due to my ‘thing’ about internet security, I will not use google at any price!

Can you direct me to where I might get the app elsewhere, please?

I noticed I cannot log on to amazon.ca or shaw.ca anymore on firefox, why?

not really a request for help since release 147.0.3 searches handoff to awesome and can't be changed by using about:config dropping back to 145.0.2 allows prevention

Or is the only option - as a web developer, to make duplicate css flags?

Im also looking for recommendations on barebones/simple parsers that can help make my html/css/js more compatible without messing up the code too much. Im hoping to avoid having to use a build system.

Without the correct password, I cannot sign in. However, I want to use Firefox on Windows 11. When I searched with a 6-digit number, I was not specific enough and my got the wrong? Firefox account. Walk me through this please.

The website commonly used by Arizonans to make filings for court, will not work properly with Firefox, even after turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection. I had to use Chrome instead.

Firefox deleted many folders in my bookmarks file. Then, trying to straighten this out, Firefox has completely changed its home page layout and I can not manage it even in the simplest way. I want to restore everything to how it was two or three days ago.

As a long-time Firefox user and evangelist, it saddens me that the time has come to part ways.

I have seen threads from others commenting on Firefox's aggressive memory consumption and retention. I have not measured this and thus do not feel qualified to comment, but, sadly, I am not surprised.

My own experience in recent times highlights 2 events that have driven me here.

1) Several websites just not responding in that some screens will not even scroll. This is fixed by me moving to a different browser.

2) More seriously - When trying to fill in a web form for a work job application the page was completely unresponsive. When I contacted the web site support their answer was: "Are you using Firefox? Ah, Yes, we are having issues with Firefox that we are trying to resolve. Our suggestion for the time being is, if practical, try using a different browser". That answer worked.

I should add that the usual cache clearing, machine restarts, even Firefox reinstall did nothing to fix either of the above issues.

So with the serious memory greed issues reported by others and my own (dys)functional experiences, I fear the time has come.

Thank you for the last 30 years or so and I am sorry it has come to this.

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard
