Starting before Christmas my Firefox disappears from my desktop. The only way I can see to get it back is by 1) going into Settings, 2) then uninstalling Firefox. 3)I then get a prompt to refresh Firefox. that works. But when i power off my computer, start it at a later time, It won't return, and I have to go through the commands above again. I use Firefox all the time and there's clearly something wrong. Can someone help me with this?

Hi all -- I have to admit that I am pretty frustrated after Firefox instituted the change to how shortcuts on the homepage operate a year or two ago. They used to be so reliable. Now frequently accessed websites are often missing or there's one row instead of two (despite being set to two obviously).
This is such a basic and important feature. It would be nice if things returned to working flawlessly.

How can I restore my old customised Firefox home page prior to this latest Firefox version update in the Windows PC desktop. There is no restore tab on the present home page. I have lost the old setups which I had customised with News, weatherof selectedcities, my stock portfoilo. etc. All I get is a default Firefox home page after the software update prior to ver 133.03
