Hello dear people,

Until recently when writing an e-mail, I could use ^Home and it brought me to the very beginning of the e-mail. Then one day this option disappeared. So now I have to use the scroll bar. Is it possible to get ^Home back?

An other problem I have is that when I reach the end of the screen while writing, the scroll bar does not move up automatically and so I do not see what I am typing and I have to move the scroll bar up. I do not understand how these two features have changed.

Thank you for your advice! All the best from Dorith

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

Thank you very much, Matt!! I have only three extensions, one is BiDi Ul. I have no idea what this is supposed to be. Is it important? The second one is called Lightening and the third one is Managing Folders. I will try enabling Lightening, although I do not really understand its purpose?

In any case I am happy ^Home and the scroll bar work again. Why they stopped working, I have no idea. Thank you again and have a nice day! Dorith
