When I play YouTube videos in Firefox, they are constantly choppy and slow, even though my internet connection is fine and other browsers (like Chrome) work smoothly. This happens with both HD and lower quality videos. I've already tried clearing cache and disabling extensions, but the issue persists. Please help me fix this.

I am encountering more and more websites with problems they attribute to Firefox. Many of them recommend using Chrome or Edge and some insist upon it or they will no longer support problems. Direct TV will no longer work with Firefox at all and they will not fix it. Several of my other regular websites will work partially, but have pages that simply will not work with Firefox. I have resisted using Chrome or Edge for years but it is getting harder and harder to do as on line systems continue to have problems with Firefox and their only suggestion is to use Chrome (which works when Firefox doesn't). Any ideas/suggestions?

When I play a video in fullscreen and type something, when I typed something in the IME and will press Esc to quit the IME, the whole fullscreen will be quitted. The expected behavior is to quit the IME only, and the fullscreen should be quitted only when there is no IMEs.

The issue has been existing for years.

The last 2 days when I have shut down my computer then restarted, my Firefox profile has disappeared, along with all my bookmarks, passwords etc. I spent several hours yesterday following all the advice here to get everything back, but nothing worked. I had to create a new profile and then import an old passwords file, which I luckily had saved in Excel. This morning when I switched the computer on, the same thing has happened. I cannot even open Firefox without creating a new profile. I get a pop up box (screenshot attached), which shows no profiles, and i have to create a new one to even open Firefox. Every time I close out of Firefox and want to go back in, I am asked to choose a profile. This has never happened before.Before i give up forever on Firefox and go over to another browser, do you have any ideas how i can stop this from happening, and get my original profile, passwords, bookmarks etc back? Thanks.

I reached out and was advised could be something wrong with the software however I believe I have the latest software as i just downloaded the browser today. I am also able to access the same site on my phone and my IPAD not sure why it wont work here.

I am / was such a huge fan of Mozilla. But now I lose my qualitity of being patient. This Update window coming up more and more. But there is no way to find - especially not an easy way. I need to make a new installation of the full programme. While doing this, I lost my full bookmarks. No chance to recover after five hours. I am really mad. Really mad.

I will leave Mozilla soon, if you dont tell me, how to use your browser without trouble.
